Lithium :: Dante's Playground
Gilligan Reeves used to be a supposed safe haven for the mentally insane, but after the asylum was shut down, it was soon discovered by the public that instead of a haven, it was more like a hellhole, a torture center, a terrifying breeding ground for the in-patient's worst fears.
The last patient checked out fifty years ago.
Or, well, so everyone would like to think.
Recently, the mental institution has been opened up for visitors. Completely and totally free, a handful of individuals are given the chance to spend the night in the infamous Gilligan Reeves Mental Facility. Rumor has it, it's haunted.
Are you brave enough?

Lithium :: Surface Warfare
Knight... Magi... Paladin... Cleric... Monk... Priestess... Marauder.
The sky is always a greyish-green. Dad told me it used to be blue. He told me it stopped being blue when the Nala came.
...
The year is 20XX. The world is not as we know it. Humanity is scared and secluded, forced to live within cluster-bump cities to protect what little of them remain. The world has not been nice to them. Hurricanes, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions... If you can think of it, it probably happened. Humanity is in danger of extinction.
Twenty-nine years ago, on the Red Day, creatures who looked almost exactly like humans began appearing. No one could imagine they were any different than us, until the slaughter commenced.
People called them vampires at first, they were sly, swift, powerful, beautiful, and seemed to have an affinity for temptation. There was no better name at the time. "Vampire" was all the human's had.
But when confronted, not blindly nor foolishly, no, but in a tactful maneuver on humanity's part, they announced themselves. They were not shy. They were the Nala.
The Nala were later discovered to be demon kin. Demons who feed from the mouths of mortals, who bit by bit, painstakingly, drain their quintessence, their life force, their souls.
...
We can't let humanity die. We just can't... I... I haven't shown the world what I can do yet. I need to be strong... If not for anyone, then for myself.
I just... I can't find the courage to do so...
...
Devlin Devreau, age 15, is a shut-in. All he does all day is play video games and sleep, until, that is, he gets called down to the floor to run errands for his father, as well as the rest of the military branch HQ he lives in. He's terrified of fighting. Hell, he's terrified of interacting with anything that breathes for more than a few minutes.
All he's ever wanted to do was to prove himself to his dad, to show him that he wasn't worthless.
The door to the outside world... Beyond the city-dome, lies plains, and past that, desolation, and then jungle. Ravenous, wild, overgrown jungle which has ravaged the world since the end of Earth as we once knew it. In the foliage lie them. In the trees, the hedges, the groves and the vines, lie the Nala.
The door can only be opened by a Magi, a magic-using soldier. And after building up the courage to talk to one, can he really get them to open the door? Either way, he'll have to sneak out into that bold, unkind world...
Who dares to come with him? He's bound to die on his own.
If only he had friends.

Lithium :: Charadesphere
Run. Run. And run.
Why can't we stop running? Running is all we do.
We are ugly creatures. No one could love us...
Love us...
Love us...
...
We are not human. We are not what we seem, either. We are gray, we are tailed, clawed... We hide ourselves in fear of rejection.
But we've been through too much to give up now.
Please... Can you find our names?
